A quilt for Innes...

A few  pictures of a quilt I made for a special wee boy named Innes. A simple herring bone design with vintage fabrics and a wee bit of Liberty tana lawn.

A stitch in time...

I have a new finished quilt to share today :) 

 
I am really happy with this one; it is fresh, colourful and vibrant.

It is entirely made from scraps and and fabric that might have been thrown out. 

Very simple shadow quilting but I really like the linear texture.

It was liberating to piece a quilt like this where the fabric pieces dictate the dimensions of the patches.

A quilt for Cooper...

A baby quilt for the lovely Cooper. 

I wanted this quilt to be bright, fun and cheerful and I think I managed it :)

I have been really enjoying the fashion for I Spy quilts so I tried to find fun fabrics in my stash which had wee pictures on it. As Cooper grows I hope it will become a learning tool :)
